After being treated with Dacromet solution, the workpiece is dried and placed on a stainless steel mesh belt curing furnace for baking and solidification. The curing process requires a curing temperature of 280-330 ℃ and a curing time of 25-40 minutes. By measuring the actual process temperature curve, the required furnace temperature and mesh belt movement speed for different varieties and specifications of products can be determined.
The curing furnace adopts a hot air circulation method, which removes water vapor and evaporated organic matter through heating exhaust. The curing furnace can use electricity, oil, and gas as fuels. When using electric heating, the product has a better appearance and color, but the cost is high. A Dacromet coating line with an annual output of 5000 tons of standard parts, if using electric heating, needs to be equipped with an 18m long and 300kW power curing furnace.
Curing is divided into two stages: preheating in the first stage, workpiece heating up by absorbing heat, temperature 60-80 ℃, and time of 10 minutes. At this stage, attention should be paid to not heating up too quickly. The workpiece must be gradually heated to allow the moisture in the coating to gradually evaporate, in order to avoid foaming of the coating. The second stage is the high-temperature curing of the coating. At this time, the temperature of the curing furnace must be controlled within the required range, and cannot be too high or too low, as it determines the final performance of the coating on the workpiece.
The workpiece moves continuously in the curing furnace. From the perspective of furnace temperature control in the curing furnace, the temperature collected is the hot air temperature at one or several fixed points inside the furnace, and the furnace temperature control system can fluctuate this temperature within the allowable range. From the perspective of the curing process of the coating, the actual temperature of the coating surface rather than the temperature of the hot gas determines the quality of the coating. The actual temperature of the coating depends on the mass size of the workpiece, furnace temperature, and the speed of the mesh belt movement. As the workpiece is in motion in the furnace, a high-temperature resistant furnace temperature tracker is used to enter the furnace together with the workpiece. The actual temperature distribution of the workpiece in the entire curing furnace can be measured, and the furnace temperature control for producing different products can be adjusted based on the actual temperature curve. Calculate the heating time and rate, peak temperature, etc. for different positions of the workpiece at 60-80 ℃. This type of test is usually conducted once a week or when replacing the product. When entrusting the processing of products, it is required that the processing enterprise provide the curing temperature curve during processing to ensure the performance of the product.
