The newly designed hardware is specifically developed for heavy daily use. Additional circuit protection functions are added, especially for protection against static electricity and leakage technology. KIC has therefore promised to provide a 2-year warranty period for the hardware of this new temperature measurement product.

The X5 comes in three styles: 7 channels, 9 channels, and 12 channels, all equipped with standard K-type thermocouples. More data sampling is just the beginning. The X5, which occupies a leading position in the industry, can obtain more accurate data to identify every temperature curve and its process situation in the factory. The temperature curve data can be easily transferred to the computer through USB connection. The RF version of X5 can transmit real-time curve data to PCs through wireless RF transmitters. The standard AAA battery is powered by X5, and you can also choose a rechargeable battery for power supply. The X5 can also be connected to a computer via USB for power supply, thereby extending the battery's lifespan.

Intelligent data processing software

The X5 software adopts a modern and user-friendly graphical interface, which quickly and intuitively guides you through the entire temperature curve testing process. All your critical temperature curve process data will be measured one by one, including slope, constant temperature time, reflux time, peak temperature, and so on. In addition, the software will also calculate the PWI value. The PWI value objectively helps you identify whether the temperature curve is within the set process window range in numerical form. A PWI value less than 100 indicates that the temperature curve is within the process range. The closer your process is to the center of the process window, the lower the PWI value. Therefore, the lower the PWI value, the closer your process is to the center of the process specification.

The X5 also comes with a standard SPC chart function, which can help you track the changes in the entire temperature curve.
